Open Mouth insert foot

As people we all tend to open our mouths at a point when we know we shoud not. I was reading a book by Tom Clancey, titled "The Teeth of the Tiger" it was said in this book that a closed mouth draws no foot. I found this quote to speak to me, well it does not help that I was reading this during class. I think that politions, and other companies could use this. If they do not tell their hidden flaws then they cant get out.

If they dont tell their flaws then they should keep their mouth shut. This goes for everyone, do not complement when it is not needed. I belive when I was a younger my parents told me, like we all have, if you have nothing good to say then don't say anything at all. I think celebs can find this useful. Also I find in elections that the candidate that slings the most mud is my least favorite.
