First off I’d like to say thanks again for reading. I know I have had a lot of time between my last post and this one and I think that I have said a few times that this blog is taking a new route but this time for sure it is. I am going to try to keep it updated since I will be deploying in March I want to have a kind of digital journal for all to read.
I am going to come out and admit it I have been really bitter in the last few weeks, specifically since the movie “American Sniper “has come out. I have not seen the movie and I don’t know if I will, I am not saying in any way that members of the American Armed Forces are bad or anything. It is super irritating seeing comments on Facebook that read like this “Just seen American Sniper, I’d like to thank everyone in the military for their service.” Why the FUCK does it take a movie about war and how it impacts families for you to thank service members. Thank them on a regular basis not because you saw a MOVIE, which while based on real events is made to be more exciting than it could have really happened. Remember HURT locker yea that was played up huge to draw in audience. But I digress thank your military members on a daily basis not because of a movie. If you want to thank service members don’t do it in a general post on Facebook, send them a personal message or even better idea, talk to your local American Legion or VFW and see if there is a way you can send care packages to service members abroad. Just find better ways to thank them then a post that involves a movie.
Next I am going to rant about money and college students. STOP taking vacations then complaining about not having money, stop going out drinking hardcore on a weekend and saying you don’t have any money and you are a broke college student. I will admit I don’t have a college degree but I am making more than my counterparts that I went to high school with who have a bachelors. How this possible one is might ask. Well I work hard and I manage my money smart I am not going to brag about my life by any means but be smart about your money and live within your means. Also graduating college isn’t that huge of a deal, congrats you spent 4 or 5 years learning a ton of stuff that you will forget right after the semester is over. Here how minimal your college life is, you graduate at an age of 24, you just spent the last 24 years growing up now guess what you are going to work for the next 40 years of your life, so getting a degree is nothing. Welcome to the working force where you have no winter or summer break and you would rather have a finals week than work on a huge project while your boss breathes down your neck. You can fail a final and still pass a course but you can’t fuck up a project and retry this is real life. So enjoy college and don’t bitch or I will smash your teeth in.
You are not special because you have a kid or are getting married. “But Coey why am I not special you don’t have any of those?” You are not special because your divorce rate is 50% so guess what you or your best friend will get a divorce that’s not special to me. And having a kid if you are married and plan a kid that’s good and smart. If you get knocked up and then get married that’s Fucked up. If you have a kid out of wedlock but continue to date and live with the other parent that is awesome. If you are just a stupid whore and get knocked up you need to rethink your life. GUYS if you knock a girl up take care of her and your kid no matter what. Being a sucmbag father is a way to take a knife to the neck, that child is half of your DNA so it is half of your responsibility. Also for engagement pictures let’s make them kind of make sense don’t be sitting at a small cafĂ© eating lunch with your significant other with a guitar just chilling on the table, you look like a douche. Now funny pictures those are ok because we can all laugh together.
I just realized in about 20 minuets I wrote more than most college and high school kids can write in an hour or two. So I am going to end my rants for now if you have a problem with what I said maybe you should write a blog about it or we can fist fight about it. Oh Markiplier I am still waiting on your response to my MMA fight. If you don’t respond I will call you a coward in the next post and keep harassing you until you respond.
You are dismissed from my office,

Fame
"I want to be famous" A quote that we hear to often today. With all the technology it is easy to become an internet super star and get paid a lot of money to just bitch in front of a computer for a ten minute video. These people who have reached internet fame take it all for granted. Their only job is to please the masses, as is the case with most famous people, but the internet fame is the lowest of the low. Take for example Jenna Marbles, she is a twenty something stripper with a masters degree, instead of actually look for a real job she resorts to bitching and getting drunk in front of millions of people. Many of these people are minors, they see her and want to be just like her. She gets paid to fly to place to accept bogus awards and then get trashed on the dime of the people who "honored" her. She is not the only one but a great example. The children of the next generation have people like her to look up to. I am not that old, but when I was a child and even a teen we had actual role models to look up to, I looked up to Steve Yzerman, a hockey player, (many of you don't know who he is so look him up). People like him are good role models. Today's famous people are losing sight of what it is to be famous, they don't help people. I know a lot of them do help people but many don't, they take their money and live the crazy life showing the youth of the world that it is ok to get drunk and drive or if you say gay people are bad that all can be forgiven by using twitter and saying that you are sorry.
Twitter has become the place for people to say sorry and then everyone acts like nothing happened. Take that Hill Billy from Duck Dynasty he smashed gay people then said "sorry" on twitter and then A&E let him back on the show. First off you are famous keep your thoughts on gays to yourself, kids look up to you if you bash them then the future will learn that is ok to bash them and then we will never have progress in this great country we live in. People are easily influenced by what "famous" people say that is why politics work so well, its who ever has the most money and the better image wins elections. If you get famous you can turn people into a bunch of idiots. What I am trying to say is watch out to those who you give fame to because in the end they end up molding the future of the world.

Metro: Last Light
Imagine you are in the year 2034, the world has been laid to waste and you are a Russian survivor living in the metro system under Moscow. Your stations are under constant attack from mutants, while at the same time the Reds and the Nazis are fighting to control your station instead of surviving as a race the humans prefer to kill each other. This is the base story behind the Game Metro: Last Light, the sequel to Metro 2033; both are based on the books by Dmitry Glukhovsky.
I will not spoil the game for anyone I will simply review the game itself. To start off I am not a huge graphics guy I prefer story content over graphics and this game is amazing in both. The game looks amazing, there were a few times when people were talking and the heads were just moving instead of the lips but I can live with that. The lighting in the game was amazing from the way it lit faces to the shadowing of the characters. Above ground the designers really captured what a destroyed Moscow would look like in the spring. The arrival of spring gave me hope, spring brings new life and I got hope for the metro. The grass, water, and sky were built perfectly even the rain was amazing; it forced you to wipe off your gas mask, something new. When your gas mask got dirty, bloody, or damp you could wipe it off instead of just waiting for the effects to disappear, like in most games. There is some nudity in the game, and I must say that the developers did a good job at animating the breasts of the females. All in all the game has an amazing look and just built off of what Metro 2033 developed.
The controls of the game changed a bit, they were not hard to change to though. The controls now follow more of a traditional FPS rather than the Metro style. Instead of cycling through your several weapons using the D pad you now are only limited to three weapons and you cycle using Y ( I am talking on the Xbox). To put your mask on you must hold the LB and then press the X button, same to change your filter, hold LB and press A. This was confusing at first but it made it easier in the long run. You can change ammunition types through the same process except you hold Y then you can change your thrown weapon or you can change your ammo to your Military Grade Ammo. Like I stated as you play the game more the controls become natural.
The story line is amazing in the game just as it was in Metro 2033. Like I said I will not spoil it but there are turns in the story. There is the perfect mix of stealth and action so you do not get bored just sneaking around the entire game. Even though there is no multiplayer there is the ranger mode you can play after you beat the game the first time. Every franchise can take a note from the Metro games, to make a good game you do not need multiplayer, the story mode should make the game with multiplayer being second, it brings us back to the roots of gaming.
Now it is time for me to finish up my review, Metro: Last Light is an amazing game it is good for anyone over the age of 17 since it is M rated, even if you are new to the Metro you will enjoy the game. I give the Game a 5 out of 5. Oh and as for if you survive the Metro you will have to play and find out yourself

He Just Enjoys His Job
http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/snow-plow-driver-covers-cars-driveways-purpose-171946901.html
Again read this article and watch the video then read this.
So some background it snowed a lot on the East Coast so its no surprise that they need to shovel their sidewalks and driveways as well as the county doing its job and plowing the streets. The plowman is an employee of a private firm that plows the streets, this certain plowman seems excited about doing his job. The reporters are singling this plowman out for enjoying his job. Is it a crime that he takes some fun in enjoying his job? They seem to enjoy their job and all they do is report the news, he is actually doing good for the people in the town, although he does it in a rude way.
Personally I don't see the big deal when people throw their snow on the street and it gets plowed back in. At 1'25" seconds the reporters say that every plowman does it, so why are we singling this one guy out. Also it it illegal to throw your snow in the street, so why are people so mad when snow gets back into their driveway they are the one breaking the laws.
As for plowing snow on peoples cars, they parked on the street they knew it would happen. While he does take a rather rude approach to the plowing by mocking the people he is not in the wrong. I don't see how this is news or why people are mad at this guy he is just doing his job and enjoying it that's no different than any other person doing their job and being rude behind the scenes.

Lanza's Photos and Details Broken Down
First
I encourage you to read this article, then I will drop some knowledge on you. The first thing I notice is the title “New
photos, details emerge of Newton mass shooter Adam Lanza” the capitalization is
all wrong; the first letter of every word that is important should be
capitalized. Now I am not the best
writer, as you will see, but this is a simple thing they teach you in
journalism school.
Now
I would like to say I am in no way condoning what he did, I feel sorry for the families
that lost loved ones in the shooting, but someone needs to enlighten the
readers and expose flaws in the writing of these articles.
The
article states that Adam had been spending more time alone in his mother’s
home; it then goes on and says that he suffered from Asperger's which made social interactions
challenging. No one notices he had Asperger’s that is why he was antisocial and
isolated himself. His mother on top of
that encouraged the isolation by attempting to make him more independent. Now I am no parent but if a child is
isolating themselves wouldn't you want to fix the problem not encourage the
isolation? I understand that no one
could have predicted the shooting that had happened but it could have been
avoided had the parents took more interest in his life instead of encouraging
the isolation he was placing himself in.
In the middle of the article the author takes a jab at
violent video games. Now my view on violent
video games are that the games don’t make people violent, there is research to
back both sides but the heard of the matter is if the parents take more
interest in the life of their child they are less prone to do violent
things. The article says that Adam
reloaded his rifle more often than he should have and that is because he learned
it from video games. This is not true it
is some common sense. Adam had spent a lot
of time at the rifle range with his mother and he is smart so he knows the more
rounds you have in the rifle means the more you can shoot. Also he knew from using a rifle that if you don’t
deplete the magazine it is quicker to reload causing you to put more rounds
down range. Video games don’t teach you
how to reload a rifle it’s the hands on experience that teach you how to use
guns.
Now the article is not all bad, I do give the author
props for saying “Bushmaster Semi-Automatic Rifle” instead of assault rifle. The author did do something right in an
otherwise flawed article. Now these
posts are just my thoughts. I use common
sense to help better the population. I
just translate the article for people to understand, I hope I opened your eyes
to a different side of the view.

Mass Hysteria
Well folks this might be my last post on my oh so sad blog, but what a better way to end the world with one last blog about the mass hysteria that the world has been consumed in. First off I am not a believer in the end of the world happening on December 21st 2012 and here are some reasons. December 21st happens at different times all around the world so while I am writing this post the world should have ended and when it is the 21st for people it will be the 22nd for others. Also could it be that the Mayans just ran out of space on their giant stone slab. But enough of that, in the United States we have become obsessed with what the mass media says.
The media controls every aspect of what happens in the world, people see/hear what the news has to offer and they re-post it to various social websites. When posted on the social sites many people get the bare bones of the news. So when the shooting in Connecticut happened, my condolences to the family who lost loved ones in the shooting, everyone got up in arms about safety of schools because the media asked the question "How safe are our schools?" everyone assumes because there are no armed guards that schools are not safe. I went to school with a bunch of drunk rednecks, thugs, and preppy kids and not once did we have a shooting. School shootings are a rare occurrence, hell mass shootings are a rare occurrence, our schools and other public locations are safe so media quit scaring people. Quit blaming guns while you are at it guns do not kill people they are used by people to kill people.
Going off the shooting in CT the kid was messed up in the head, his parents knew that but they did not do anything to help him. He got the guns from his mom, they were not even his guns, so if we want to blame someone lets blame the mother for not noticing her child was messed up and for not locking up her guns. It is one of the first things we are taught in gun safety keep the guns locked up and away from kids and people who are at risk of using them for harm. It is not the guns fault that they were not locked up properly and a disturbed kid used them to shoot a bunch of kids its the owners fault for not locking up the guns. So the media should not scare people by saying how unsafe the schools are, the schools are safe because parents watch out for their children.
Media takes things way out of proportion, they do so to get viewers, the media is no longer about news but about viewers and ratings. I can think about one huge example besides the shooting the recent presidential election. Fox news was the major offender, as the polls were still open fox was saying President Obama had won. They said this for one reason to get viewers, if people thought fox had an inside with the election they would choose to watch the news on fox versus other stations. We need to take the media back what happened to people who actually took the news serious? We need more people who take news serious and care about the news. This is my challenge for anyone who reads this. I want someone who takes news serious and delivers it the proper way with facts.
Next time you hear something on the news think twice before you flip out about it, read from several sources and make your own opinion.

Casey Anthony Case
I know a lot of you are pissed about the trial, many are comparing it to the OJ case already, to spoil it she was found not guilty in child abuse, or murder of the child, but she was guilty of giving false information to an officer. This sounds bad but I was pulling for her to be not guilty I think she was given an unfair rap through the media during the search and after she was arrested and said she murdered the trial.
I know a lot of you are upset but I honestly think she wasn't guilty because she was pinned guilty from the start and was never given a chance to tell her side, and when she did it was shot down right away. I thought this because there was no proof that she did it, and if 12 people on a jury did not see the evidence there, keep in mind the jury got a lot more evidence than was released in the media. I think the media takes these things out of proportion, the media is really one sided it only focuses on the bad side of the news.
The prosecution is at fault for all of you that are pissed, if the case was rock solid against her then how was she proven not guilty? Think about that if she really did do it, not saying she did or didn't, the prosecution would have had a solid case and she would have been found guilty right away
I wasn't on the case I wasn't in the court room so I have no idea what evidence was shown but this case is a solid example of how the US court system works, 12 people who have no connection to the trial, I have no idea if they saw the news when it came out, but they found her not guilty of murder or manslaughter.
I guess what I am ranting about and attempting to open your eyes to is, the legal system did its part, the case wasn't too solid, media outlets are one sided, take it for what it is worth maybe she did murder, maybe she didn't but that cant be changed now live with it. You can't call her a murder because she wasn't found of it, justice has been served and have you ever thought that maybe someone else could have done it?
As Americans we have a choice and we can openly protest/complain about the trial result, so feel free to complain and be pissed but look at the big picture don't take what the media says to heart for everything, the media goes for ratings not for the facts.
